Qualifications / Requirements:

The ideal candidate would have the following:

• Source and procure high-voltage powerline electrical materials, equipment, and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Analyze supplier proposals and negotiate cost-effective Contracts and Purchase Orders.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new sourcing opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills to track procurement data, analyze costs, and generate reports.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand material needs and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

We are actively looking for a talented Designer / Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. As the successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of Professional Engineers in the design and development of high-voltage electrical systems. These systems encompass substations, overhead power lines, underground utilities, and industrial plant power distribution.

As an Intermediate to Senior Drafter / Designer, you will be responsible for supporting our team of Professional Engineers in the design and development of high-voltage electrical systems, including substations, overhead power lines, underground utilities, and industrial plant power distribution. This will involve various tasks such as creating and drafting CAD-based drawings and 3D-models, representing electrical schematics, site layouts, 3D-model rendering of equipment, structures, power lines and other utilities. You will be working closely with Professional Engineers (P. Engs.) who will provide direct supervision and guidance.
